for the record. I like all of bangles BMW designs.

 

Hey look another butt ugly BMW. I believe my wife put it best last time we saw a BMW drive by "BMW is like the civic of luxury cars".

 

I think the Z4 is my least favorite of the Bangle designs, but that coupe is gorgeous. It's kinda TVR like.

Blueeyes, I wouldn't expect any checks if I were you. Unless they payout for examples of how not to design the Z4 coupe :p

 

given that I was using paint, and knowing my artistic capabilities, anyone could see that if I had access to the proper tools my version would look the exact same as bangles. Hence, SHOW ME THE MONEY!!

 

Because a lot of people have them? sure a lot of those that own them do so for the name, but there is no denying they are wonderful driving cars.

 

I just can't fathom how people are calling this car ugly...

Well, for some, it's trendy to make fun of BMW designs. Especially for people that can't afford them. NOT SAYING ANYONE HERE. You're more than welcome to not like it.

I love the roof, looks great with that dip in the middle. Sharp looking car. Now, lets see and ///M Coupe with some fat *** fenders and the new M3 power plant! :drrroooll: pure sex.

 

I really like this. I was thinking the same thing Ike, it screams TVR. I'm impressed with this, but I'd love to see it in action. C'mon Top Gear, get on it! :D

 

400 horsepower in that little car. I'm shivering, t'will be quite the coupe if I say so myself.

 

the rear of the hatch looks like a giant bubble.

 

Its got one of those designs that I have to see in person before passing judgement.

 

I love the design. If I had the money I'd buy one when it comes out.

 

It's not that the coupe is any uglier than the convertible. The problem IMO is that the roof/hatch looks like it belongs to a different car compared to the rest of the design. It doesn't match the rest of the car.

 

It's pretty - Everything is ok except two things IMO, one the sculpted sides - yuk - reminds me of a Ford Taurus - a triple yuk look car, and the 'tortose shell' look from the side front, that includes the scuplted side - looks like a shell is covering the car down to the headlamps and back over the top - a bit wierd.

Not that it's terrible - but these design cues detract from the rather attractive style and shape IMO, and they could not be there and it would look much, much cleaner, less fussy and heavy looking.

 

I can. In fact, I think I like the old Z3/M Coupe better and that was a funky looking car too. To each his own...

 

I can. So many nice looking cars have been called ugly on this site. But I agree, this car is gorgeous, and those calling it ugly would not be saying that if they had one handed to them. Those calling this ugly are definitely WELL into the minority that's for sure.

I like every view but the front 3/4. Looks goofy and kinda fat from that angle. I really like the straight on side view, reminds me of a Ferrari.

I can't put my finger on it exactly. It has lots of different lines through out the body, but still manages to look boring and plain I guess. That and it has the same front end style as every other BMW, which I have never liked.
