I'm just gonna get my dealer to do mine.

My SM is a car modder himself so I'm pretty sure it'll get done okay. Will report back whether it went good or bad.

Midas Liverpool dented my Hymee exhaust with a hammer.

Stay away.

Also Ryde Midas (playa78) I think was jipped.

Ouch!!! I'm really sad to hear that!

Midas are independantly owned, so I guess I should point out this isn't necessarily representative of Midas. Gomex got his done at a Midas IIRC. We even used a Midas workshop a couple of times when we the need arose.

It depends on who you get. I would ensure you get someone experienced in custom work. Not customised with a hammer!

Or you could just do what Muzz did, and drive up to Bris-vegas to get the expert himself to fit it for you. $40 and peice of mind. :D

Cheers,
Hymee.

Really!??! Not if you don't have access to a hoist and blowtorch. That joint has consistently proven to be a real bastard. Take my advice: don't even attempt this at home unless you have the gear and know what you are doing.

My rationale behind using my dealer is that firstly they've done a good job on the car so far, my SM is not some OEM **** and clearly appreciates worthwhile mods and they know if they want to keep me after the warranty runs out they will have to look after me so I reckon it should be okay.

And Hymee, if you lived a bit closer I'd do that for sure (like, in the same state!). :D
