Midas are independantly owned, so I guess I should point out this isn't necessarily representative of Midas. Gomex got his done at a Midas IIRC. We even used a Midas workshop a couple of times when we the need arose.
It depends on who you get. I would ensure you get someone experienced in custom work. Not customised with a hammer!
Or you could just do what Muzz did, and drive up to Bris-vegas to get the expert himself to fit it for you. $40 and peice of mind. :D

Not if you don't have access to a hoist and blowtorch. That joint has consistently proven to be a real bastard. Take my advice: don't even attempt this at home unless you have the gear and know what you are doing.
My rationale behind using my dealer is that firstly they've done a good job on the car so far, my SM is not some OEM **** and clearly appreciates worthwhile mods and they know if they want to keep me after the warranty runs out they will have to look after me so I reckon it should be okay.
And Hymee, if you lived a bit closer I'd do that for sure (like, in the same state!).
