Vacuum reading at idle?
Does anyone know how many inches of vacuum the 8 reads at idle?

The values quoted in the Mazda Manual are:
MT- 19.6 to 16.6 in Hg
AT- 19.8 to 15.8 in Hg

I have not measured any actual engines so have no idea of typical values.On my RX7 I liked to see 19 in .
