Where's D&B?

Sorry I'm a newbie, but I just got my 8 on the weeekend, hehe... :D

 

D&B's is at hwy 400 & hwy7. Where the new IKEA is along with Bailey's, Boston Pizza, AMC theatres... etc...

Can't miss it, huge signs!!!

Hey guys hows it going? I'll be picking up my 8 on thurs morning, and was thinking of coming to D&B, for this RX-8 meet, but i finish work at 8 so i would prob be there by like 8:45.

my main question is how long the meets last, and where do u meet? in the parking lot?, or do i go in to D&B and ask where the rx8 owners are, what do u guys do?, and i just show up?.

Hey Bud, These things are so laied back it is unreal. We all meeet up in the parking lot and chill there till most people get there. We will probelly be inside "SAM AND PETES" by 8:45 (same parking lot as D & B) but if that is the case I'll tell the chick or dude at the front doors who we are and just ask for us when you get there. Hope to see ya there.

I would like to chk this out, haven't been to a meet in ages, but forcast says possible thunder storm? any chance this thing maybe rained out?

p.s. what is the details of the meet? (i.e. exact time)

Yeah it'd be neat, I've only had my 8 for 2 weeks, haha!

Have we settled on the time and place? The other thread about the meet has me confused. I guess I'll check back this post tomorrow or something

 

The meet is in the Dave & Busters parking lot at Hwy 7 and 400. East of the 400 on the southide of 7. People role in at their leisure between 7:30 - 9pm. Most arriving between 8-8:30pm

We usually head into one of the restaurants for a beer or dinner or both at some point. See you all later.

 

And just as a side note, if we are not in the parkinglot when you get there, then head over to Sam & Pete's (beside D&B) and ask the chick or dude for our table. see ya there.

 

Argh, sorry guys, looks like I can't make it this time. It's 7pm and I'm still at work :p

They happen every Thursday...

Great to see more RX-8's this time around... I guess we alternate mini-meets or something... Last week it was just FD's... this week there were more RX-8's than 7's...

Danielson always a trooper making it all the way out here.... Always a good time!!

Next time we'll have the go-kart meet!! Put Shamblerock to the test!! :D

I donno if Dan will be allowed to go go-karting. There arnt very much rubber on those tires, When he gets through with them he'll be riding on the rims:D
