I have had one on my Miata for two years now.
The leather is nice. The lace that comes with it is not strong enough. You need to replace it with a slightly thicker, synthetic sinew (sp) (leather lacing).
You can find it a any good sewing shop.
I soaked the leather in distilled water and let it dry, before the install.
(shrinks it for a tighter fit)
Observations, It is a good alternative to recover a worn leather wheel, like on my Miata.
But, I think it would do the leather wheel in the 8 an injustice.
If you like the two-tone, save up the money and have an upholstery shop "re skin the wheel"
It would look like it was installed in the factory.
