Smile Just Drove my brand new 8 from OH to MI!!!

Hi, I just was so damn excited that I have this car now! I've been lusting over it for over 6 mths now and I finally have my TI Gray RX 8 touring pack. w/ navi! It is an 04 with only 257 miles on it (well now it has 600)! BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!! Love the handling, engine, navi, gearbox, and most of all, how sexy this damn car is!!

I wanted to poke my head in and say hello. I'm in the A2 (Ann Arbor) area and haven't seen many 8's out here.

Oh yeah, she needs a name....are there any suggestions?

Welcome...careful with that 8 in aa, people there just don't give a crap how close they park to you. If you ever shoot up to Farmington look for a fellow Tit.Gray 8 going at least 20 above posted MPH...

Hey does this mean you have to change your screen name to "gotgrayrx8"?
Be careful driving in AA. I got a speeding ticket on the Broadway bridge a month after I got the car. I drive a sunlight silver and I go to AA fairly often.

and oh yea, I named mine Roxy

I graduated in 03.
During my years in AA, I have been stopped many times by cops... not to mention thousand of packing ticket in South U.
As far as name, maybe Jessica (Merchant) or Jennie (Ritter)? or my favourite Carr..... lol

Typical response from a rodent-lover. That's the best comeback you have after getting your ***** handed to you 3 out of the last 4 years?

BTW: It's "an acorn", not "a acron", but I'll forgive that since I know the quality of education that scUM provides is sub-par.

J/K, it's all in good fun! :p

I'm in Farmington but my parents live in Rochester Hills. As luck would have it, I'm heading back on Saturday, so tell me what color yours is, and if I see one with an OH plate I'll start tailgating

EDIT: Stupid question, yellow won't be too hard to miss

You gotta catch me first!!! :D

I love speeding in Michigan. You can do 80mph and not pass anyone, it's great!!!

Though the roads aren't the greatest and you can rattle a cavity loose in the process.

Tell me about it . Anyhow, I believe there may still be 2 separate construction zones on I-75 once you get into Michigan. You won't be able to go anywhere close to 80 mph in these zones, and depending on what time you're traveling, expect some delays.

Good lookin' out Buckeye.

I'm leaving around rush hour here so hopefully things will be better by the time I get up there.

My first stop is Pizza Papalis. Can't wait. Best za I've ever had.

The trick is knowing enough cops in the cities around here to speed on the roads rather than the highways. I-696, you can go damn well any speed you want. Yea, comin up I-75 is a joke...hope your wheels/tires are in good condition...

Head up to Rochester Brew House when you get to your friend's place. Pretty good beer, decent Happy Hour
