16" Wheels

I'm trying to plan ahead for winter this year, and have started looking/shopping around for an extra set of wheels to throw snow tires on. I've looked through Tire Rack's offerings, and have found a few options I might be interested in. But, I recently discovered that Mazda offers a set of 16" wheels for the 8... I just had a set priced, and they're far more than what I'm willing to spend.

Now, I'm hoping that I can save a few bucks by going with 16"s as opposed to 17"s. So, I thought I'd see if anyone else has, or knows where I could find, a set of 16" aftermarket wheels? I don't need anything fancy or pretty. Just something cheap, in a size I can easily find tires for, and that won't break on me... Thanks in advance!

16" will only fit on a BASE RX-8 FYI. I paid under $1,000 for a set of 17" winter tires / rims from Tire Rack, how much would 16's save you???

Seriously? Darn... Is it because of the brakes, or something?

Not sure how much they'd save, but figured it would be less than 17"s. Oh, well. Thanks!

What I would suggest is to check around the forum and see if anyone is selling. I got mine for 775 shipped 18" 5zigen with snowsport. I say I got a good deal.
