you would need spacers to clear the front calipers with the stock wheels.

Mazdatrix has them for sale made just for the Brembo kit with stock wheels... just 40 bucks or sth

hope that helps

Just spend that 2500 on wheels and don't waste your money on these brakes...

I honestly dont see any purpose in BBK for the RX8 especially if your car is 6spd since it already comes with 12.6" Rotors all the way around. You will be able to clear the BBK in the front & rear if you run an H&R spacer, or any other brand ... I'm just not sure how many mm, you would need it to be...

I had the spacers on my car for a while. They were more for show though. Worked fine, no issues whatsoever. Just pushes out the rims another 1/4." Which isn't that much. No rubbing problems.

I've talked to the Mazda racing team and a few others. They say the brakes are too good on the RX8. They can't improve them. However stoptech did go back to the drawing board and make a new set that improves the brakes from fading as fast as stock brakes.

After all this is what racing is all about. the longer your brakes hold up the faster you can go on the track.

I had that kit on my car.. They fit with a spacer.. They are great but I had a small weird sound coming of one of them. So i used them for like 2 weeks. Maybe bad installation I dont know. So i took them off and haven't used them since then. It is the GT High performance brembo.

Tried to contact Brembo to ask them and they told me "Our products are high quality,no defects. If you installed them yourself then should be installation".. Not very helpful... So i got tired of dealing with people like that...

How thick is the spacer...?

Nice brakes. I want one too, handy then the stock rotor with sports pads.

You have to find out how the brake is on the track. I have tried Brembo in an 8 before ... very sweet.

I personaly have the Rotora 6 piston BBK for the front, and the rotor is huge, i have to sell my 18inch aftermarket rims for a 19 inch and big off set. Even with 19 inch rims i still have to use spacer for the front, i have to get some custom one from discount time to fit my rims and rotor perfectly, so no virbration to the steering wheel. BBk make the car look a lot nice and break better too

^ yep, rather than spending $3k on a BBK spending $150 on pads makes a huge difference. Unless you are planning on racing the car.
