I agree with Flawless. I bought the stainless steel strakes to help "spread the wealth" with my chrome rims and they look good.
The wheels look great! When sitting next to stock, they look completely different.

I had my stock rims chromed from the dealership & I think it looks even sharper in contrast to a darker color car. I got a lot of compliments from them. Really liked them. Then I sold it to another poster on this board. Can't give up the chrome though. Get a lot of compliments now on my new rims too (chromed, of course).

I do not know how much they cost because it was a present to me for getting good grades...
I really want to put strakes on, but 200+ for 4 little peices of metal is rather stupid in my opinion. About the weight.....never had them weighed so I have no clue, sry.
Also, I think the pictures do not really do them justice as in person they look amazing. The sunlight really reflects beautifully off of them and complete the car.
However, brake-dust sure has risen on my list of things I hate...
Thanks for the feedback!

As mentioned in other threads, Howard (in the UK) sells stainless steel strakes; he delivered mine in 4 days. They cost less than $140, they look better than stock aluminum strakes, and since they're steel, I would expect them to last longer.
