Suspension question

Okay, this is probably a stupid newbie question, but I haven't seen anything that says specifically.

Ok, I am looking at putting the TEIN Type-Flex Coilovers on my RX-8. If I'm doing that upgrade, is there any need to put the TEIN High-Tech Springs on? I was orignially thinking that I needed both for a good upgrade, but now I'm thinking I only need the Type-Flex Coilovers. Could someone please enlighten me on my needs for my future upgrade plans.

Thanks for the help.

you'll only need the coilovers... their line on springs are just for oem shocks.

coilovers include springs: "coil" (spring) "over" a shock

of course, in some sense, the oem suspension is already "coilover"...although in recent years that term has come to mean not just a coil spring with a damper passing through it, but also ride height adjustability
