REvi problem?

Ok people don't get me wrong. Love the intake. One of the 1st buyers. Got good results. But now I am having a little problem. The idle. I have never had idle problems before. Today on the way home from work as I was coasting to a stop(from about 40mph) for a redlight, i had the clutch down and the engine died.(the A/C was off) It has never done that before. When I restarted (without a problem) it had a very hard time "searching " for a idle point. I drove some more and this continued for 10-15 minutes when stopping. I also have noticed a couple of times before this at high rpm the car had a very poor throttle response when changing gears. Like a throttle lag.
Yes I know check the MAF ,clean it etc. Ok I will. The vacumn plug is on tight.
Now the interesting part. This went completly away once i turned the dsc complety off. What the heck? (I have the N flash.)
I did put some differant brand of gas in a couple of days ago and i have been running shell before that, but why did the dsc trick fix the problem?
I also have a light flywheel in but I have been running that for some time without a problem.
Has anyone else experienced this?

You know what, that same exact thing happen to me about 4 months ago inside a parking garage. I was sitting there just waiting for my girlfriend to come and bam the engine just died on me. At that point my whole engine was stock. It's done it once and has never done it again. Beats the hell out of me, but my car is still running great(Knock on Wood).

I think its just some random thing and nothing to worry about. :p

my car was nearly stalling like this for a while with the M flash. They replaced all 4 spark plugs and N flashed it and I havent had a problem since.

I had 19000 on mine when they pulled them. I didnt check them myself, but it certainly fixed the problem.

thought of swapping back to the stock intake? that'd be the easiest way to confirm or eliminate the Revi as the problem.

Maybe try performing an ECU reset? Or try dumping some fuel injector cleaner/octane booster into your gas tank - maybe you got some bad gas. Also check the the REVi intake filter and clean it. I doubt it's the REVi though, title makes it sound like it's a problem with the intake when it could be a number of other things.

well cleaned my maf and it wasn't dirty. I have noticed 2 things.
1- if I run through a couple gears to 8k or so and aburtly slow the engine(just push the clutch in) it acts as if it is loading up and rough idle.
2- if it idles for say over 15-30 seconds after it has warmed complety the idle drops to about 600-700k (thats just a tad bit slower than usual) and it's rough.
It is intermitate.
Today for the 1st time it also had some skips in 5th gear at 2k while trying to acclerate.
I don't think it is the intake now. I think it is the plugs. Dang $120 for a set of plugs every 20k miles!? Love my rotary but daymn! There goes the front set of my RB springs I was planning on buying.

I had an extra set that a friend of mine got from a mazda service tech that was servicing flooded 8's and they changed the plugs during that service. Plugs only had a few thousand miles on them. I understand that the dealer should chnage the plugs if you have an issue, however with my mods I didnt want to take the car in with this type of issue.
