What's the point of trashing the reflector?

Mikeb: what bulbs did you put in yours?

when you take the reflector out the light can shine through the whole side marker instead of just half of it

I used bi hybrid 194 bulbs

they are super white

they are just regular bulbs
they are ten bucks for both and you can get them at mainplace mall, the block in orange or superautobacs

Check the DIY Forum....there are very detailed instructions.
I installed my clears in less than 30 minutes and I also removed the reflectors.
My suggestion is to use a small flat blade screwdriver and needlenose (as indicated in the instructions). I also used a small pair of snips to first cut the reflector once it was loose. It made it much easier to bend it with the needlonose to pull it through the hole.
