F%@#ing Hail

Ok so I look outside and I see white stuff and think to myself, Oh crap its snowing, I look closer and its damn HAIL!

So I watch my car getting pounded by marble size piece of ****.

I went outside after it was over and checked her out, luckily no damage that I could see.

Anyway here's a quick pic.

I think it's a sideways view of the bottom of the windshield/top of the hood

Yea sorry for the pic quality/orientation (camera phone). It is indeed the top of the hood where the wipers are, just viewed from the top.

Yah noticed that two times today, first time at around 11am in the Dufferin Steeles area, size of rice, lasted about almost a minute. Then around 1:30, started raining hard, all of a sudden, hail, the size of my finger nail on my little finger. Just glad they weren't the same size as the ones that pelted the Texas' guy's 8.

The 8 can take a beating of hail, light ones for sure, trust me I know. At one of the RX-7 meets it hailed and I drove off...well, wouldn't you? Got home and inspected the car and found nothing. Now if you're asking about my drive along the 404 on this past Friday...

So there I was, all set to muck out the garage, toss the accumulated flotsam and jetsam when I heard the 'ping' of ice pellets on metal.. Holy downdrafts, hail! Big un's.. So I whipped old Rex back in.. no damage ..the garage will have to wait until another day..darn shame :D

Pete, with your luck if your car was out there, you would have probably received the golf ball sized hail only around your car and there would be dents everywhere. In fact, it would probably still be hailing on your car as I write this!
Hurry, and park your car indoors!.
