anyone remove/block those blue gauge lights

I dont think i like the blue tint comgin from the lights in the gauge cluster. I like using the red at nite since the white is too bright, but the blue lights give the red a pinkish tint to them . i was hoping that without the blue shining then the red woudl actually look more like the rest of the dash.

I can do without the blue coolness if it makes my gauges look more red. pure red would look much better imho.

Has anyone done this or anyone know an easy way to access the gauges so i could just block out the blues?

Personally I love the blue light...but I know they're behind the clear plastic part, so you'll have to take a good amount of stuff off to get to them.

ya i noticed they were behind the plastic, was wondering how easily the gauge access was. the blue was cool but id like the entire dash to be the same shade of red.. and the blue doesnt go with anything else in the car... except the cold part of the AC dial .
