Rust On The Install Ms Wing

Hey I Have Had My Cf Ms Wing Installed For About 1-1/2 Months.after Many Car Washes I Notice Some Rust Down The Back Of My Trunk...since You Havd To Drill New Holes In The Trunk To Install How Can You Prevent The Rust That Will Build Up From The New Drilled Holes? Any Suggestion ? I Was Going To Cover The Holes With Some Silicone But I Thought I Would Ask The Experts..

Did you prime and touch-up paint the metal exposed after the holes were made?

well there shouldn't be too much rust damage if any at all. just sand it and paint it...haha you could go hog wild and bust out the silicon as well.......i personaly like the over kill approach myself.

maybe a good idea to spray some fish oil on the surrounding area to prevent from further rust afterwards
you can get the fish oil in spray can from most automotive shops

ps. dont know why they call it fish oil :D
