Hi, I was at my dealer in Chilliwack, BC and I gave them some TSB's I printed off the site. They looked at them and said those are American service bulletins and may not apply to Canadian cars, is this true? and if so where can we get a list of Canadian bulletins. They still serviced my car accordingly and were nice about it but I just want to know for the future.

 

yes that is true.. The american TSB's don't apply to us. We normally get the same TSB about 3 months late sometimes.

Also another thing that kinda bothers me is we can't order mazdaspeed parts from the dealership!! that's apparently only an "american" thing according to the parts manager at my dealership.. now that is a **** off

Are you serious? The TSBs say "Mazda North America". Last time I checked we're in North America. I've shown several to my dealer; they even had the same ones - no problems at all.

 

I heard the samething about them not applying to Canada....hmmm?...time to make the journey up the mountain to talk to the great Gordon. He is wise...he will know. :D

Yeah I've shown several to North Hill and they had no problem. For the TSB on the AC amplifier, Ryan actually had it there and showed me that my VIN didn't fall in the proper range so I was couldn't get it replaced.
