This is a pre-meet for Mazda in the Mountains that is being held in August. This will be a drive out to K-country and checking out various spots where we can stop/park. So whoever wants to join some of us for a nice drive through the mountains..come along. Anybody is welcome.

Meet at COP, 11:30 - 11:45 Sunday.
Bring Radios if you have any.

Did you take highway 1A back early afternoon? I saw a couple of rx8's out there. A blue and a gray one.

In any case...we'll probably have more meets like this if you guys are up for it.

KHTM; not sure if you're still planning to attend the High Performance school on April 30/May 1 but if you are you'd better get those winter wheels off!!

Just a thought, maybe it'd be cool to have a Calgary/Vancouver meet somewhere in the middle one year?

I really like this idea.

Now what do guys do about refilling? I don't do anybody but Esso, Safeway definitely not PetroKanada.

I only do Chevron myself. If I have to, after that'd it be Mohawk.

We'd need to pick a spot that's a half day's drive away (or less). Somewhere along the Kamloops>Calgary portion of the number 1 perhaps? Kamloops is like 3-4 hours out of Vancouver over the Coquihalla.

Anyway, sorry for butting into your thread.

Funny I used to go to Esso and I've found that nmy mileage increased using PetroCanada gas...I thought it might be a fluke but after 3 tanks I went back to the same Esso station and my gas mileage dropped again......go figure.

Well I guess Salmon Arm is really closer to half-way. We could meet there...
