fitment help...

i never understood the offset thiing... so i'll ask

The wheel size is 18x8... same as stock size
but the offset is +38

Would that pose any fitment issues on the 8? Would it be awkward?
input would be greatly appreciated... thanks guys.

+38 means the back face of the wheel (the part that meets with the face of the brake rotor) is 38 mm from dead center of the wheel width. the offset is what pushes your wheel in and out from the fender. so with an 18x8 +38 wheel, the wheel would stick out by about 1/2 inch more than the stock wheels. (i'm guessing the stock wheel has a 50mm offset.
