Mazda Speed eurethane yes or no?

Ok so im really thinking about getting the mazda speed eurethane kit how much do you guys think it should cost to get installed and then how much to get it painted??? Has anyone heard of any problems with the kit. I know most of you will just tell me to buy the real kit but i dont want to spend that much money i was actually thinking maybe the veilside rear bumper and side skirts with the ms front cuz i saw one with that and it was insane!

Thanks
-Ryan

It cost about $1200- $1500 depending on the shop you go to & quality of the shop to install & paint a full bodykit but you can usually get it a down a little if you negotiate with the shop.

Yup, it does cost that much to paint & install from a decent to quality bodyshop. If you get quoted way less than that then they are probably not that good of a bodyshop. Most people make sure that it fits right then have it painted for about $600-750 & installed it themselves to save money on the installation charge that's about the same as painting the car.

I called rotary extreme and asked about the eurethane front bumper cost 500 plus shipping about 150 for business address 220 for residential address. Roughly about 300 to have it installed and painted. I think im before off getting the real ms front and I wont have to worry about fitment.

Where are you located Sillygirl10 because the bodykits are shipped from LA,CA. The shipping has a lot to do with where you are located.I live in bayarea ,Ca & I got my whole MS polyurethane kit shipped to me for $110.Rotaryextreme does not make money off shipping from you unlike other shops because you pay the shipping company when they get there at your door not rotary extreme. Also I heard from people from this forum that the MS urethane from Rotary extreme fits pretty good except for the whole replacement rear bumper. That's a pretty good price you got for painting & installing the front bumper for $300.

i've recently heard issues with the urethane material that it has a lot of problems with sagging. With all these issues one should just go and get the geniune version. Save on paint.

I think that it might of got something to do with the bodyshop knowing how to handle urethane but again I dont really know. They are suppose to sand it down & let the chemicals release for a few hours instead of just primer & paint the urethane.

yea, im heavily favoring urethane only b/c of the cost savings, hopefully what you mentioned above is the case. How does sanding it down prevent the kit from sagging?

Urethane "will" Sag with time... it's the nature of the plastic material of it. But at least it doesn't chip like Fiberglass.

I'm not really sure about how to prevent to from sagging but the bodyshop I brought my MS urethane kit to told me that you're suppose to sand it all down so that the urethane will release some kind a chemical that's inside of it before they will be able to primer & paint. They said when they make the kits, they put some chemicals to hold to mold in place or something.Like what Outlawextreme said urethane won't chip or crack like fiberglass does.
