I don't have the finishers but the flap took about a hour to fit, and I changed the strakes at the same time. I think the finisher need some of the plastic removing to fit but I might be wrong.

Hard to install: NO.
So long as you DO NOT follow Mazda's instructions. Hardest part is removing the trim without breaking any plastic tabs.

Exhaust finishers are a real waist of money...it is a small sheet of metal that you can barely see and only at an angle...forget it, save your money for something better...I'm so glad I didn't buy these (almost did
