In these pictures you can really see how much more light they add.

Got them on ebay for $219, plus $35 shipping from Canada and another $32 import fee from UPS(which the seller was suppose to pay for when he charged 35 bucks to ship it). I emailed him asking him why the hell did I owe UPS 32 bucks for import fees, he response "well, i'll pay for half of it, thats more than most would do," I said, "what the hell was 35 bucks for then." No response from him on that yet... but he did paypal me the 16 bucks.

On a side note...the units seem very built. When I opened them up to dill the holes to mount them. I could see that the whole circuit board was hot dipped in gel in order to water proof it. The housings are also alum... pretty well made.

Anyone know if it is illegal to drive with these on?? Are they too bright??

That guy has 9005 HID replacements.. Can we just pop those in??

The camera exaggerates the blue color in the lights a lot. They are not nearly as blue as they look.

Very cool! Something else to add to the to-buy list. :D

So are you going to give us some details on the install, Rasp? Did these just install in the stock housings? If so, where did you locate the HID ballasts?

And, if these really did install in the stock housings, almost like a bulb replacement, then that tells me it fits an H-11 socket. And further, there should then be an H-9 socket available at some point (if not now) so we really can do our high beams. Does anyone know if these are available?

I aimed them down at the ground; otherwise, they would destory to nice cut off line that the projector head lights make.

Sorry, who are you responding to? Me? If so I was actually hoping for a little more detail than that... See my above edited questions... thanks!
