Question 2003 Mazda6i Trade in for RX8 YES\NO\Maybe So?

Hello RX8 owners and potential RX8 owners , I have a question regarding trading in my 2003 fully loaded Mazda 6i for the RX8 and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback of their experience or knowledge of the process and if its a good idea or not to good ahead on doing?

Just doing a quick check on msn (Kelly's blue book) shows a 2003 6i with 23K in excellent condition trades in for 11-12K. Not sure what the balance if you owe on it, but you should take it into consideration if you have to finance more then the 8's worth because your carrying over equity from your last car, then you might want to wait some.

Trading in after a year or 2 is never a good option for the consumer...

Now, if money's not a concern, then you will have to get used to more power, better handling, more attention from strangers, riced out cars wanting to race you, getting worse gas milage and having room for only 3 hotties at a time... :D

Everything is paid off already, my 6 has had random stupid problems from the windows making wierd noises when opening and closing to engine light going on randomly and shutting off to turning signals going out; I'v been to the dealership so many times its insane and im sick of it?
Can anyone give me a guestimate of how much money im going to have to pay to get the RX8 making the assumption that the dealership with give 12k?
P.S should going with the 04 instead of the 05 be a better idea money wize or not since I do want the White Pearl?

Take a look at edmunds, cin and cars.com and this form. They should give you a rough indicater as to how the car would be and from there you can figure out the payments or what lease amount would be.
