I like the multispoke 17's for the new miata, its likely that they will fit our cars given much of the shared underpinnings, and if history repeats itself, they will likely be lighter weight than our 21.5lb 18's.

And, cheap. prolly easy to find on ebay at some point, or hell through the dealer. a nice clean look that means you could have a second set of wheels for track time, or regular driving.

Hopefully they are about a 45-50 offset, like the 3, 6 and 8. My only real concern might be the width of the wheel.

 

Sounds like a good idea as I am sure the offset will be correct and they will be light being a Mazda, but they are apparantly only 17x7 which would be the limiting factor.

 

Miata wheels are 4 bolt, RX8 is 5 bolt...
