Pics from Vancouver Island

Just came back tonight from a 3 day stay on the island. Went to Tofino and Port Alice, here's some pics to share with you guys

I was THIS close to running out of gas in the middle of no where in the pouring rain at night (I clutched in a few times on hills to save gas) and yes... note to self.... when they say "83kms to Port Hardy", they mean Port Hardy as in the outskirts of Port Hardy... lol

Hey those are great pics! I like the first one by Cameron Lake.

Yikes, must have been scary to be out of fuel. Don't worry, when my fuel light comes on, I usually have 10liters left giving me a wonderful 60km (yes ... lame mileage). After that, the girlfriend has to start pushing

LOL I don't think my girlfriend would've appreciated to have taken a plane for 11 hrs just to come push my car in the pouring rain in the middle of nowhere :D but yea I always mistaken the guage by thinking the needle can go below the E letter like my other cars

Does anyone notice anything wrong with my car?
LOL I guess if no one does I might as well not get it fixed

Isn't the drive over the island up to Tofino just awesome in the 8? I did that trip back in September with my wife and Daughter. Stayed up in Tofino for a couple of nights.

Saw a winning blue 8 on my way back, but not in time to wave hi.

yea the drive there was amazing, kinda reminds me of Deal's Gap? lol I saw a black 8 with a mazdaspeed spoiler and debadged on the way in. I think it looked like it was lowered too...

I got into an accident and there's this big dent on the driver side rear wheel fender didn't get it fixed yet.. but hmmm doesn't seem that noticeable?

Sorry to hear about the dent.

How can we notice, when you're hiding it with your pics, notice the side pics are of the girlfriend's side of the car. and when does the front pics, then has a little glance of the driver's side with mostly the front end showing in the pic. Great photography Titus, but it makes me depressed. 1, is the scenery, how great it looks there, 2, is how clean your car is. Want to wash the salt off mine???

Now I am depressed also . . . Friends had a cottage at Cameron Lake and I spent a bunch of time there as a kid. You have to like the scenery and some of those tight, twisty, hilly roads on the Island . . . Unfortunately everybody keeps moving there and soon you will be forced at all times to follow Crown Vic's at 40Km/hr piloted by people wearing big hats . . . Maybe that will be me again someday but I will never trade the 8 for a Crown Vic :-)

Is the driver in the yellow bronco of legal age and licensed to drive. :p ... or is the driver proposing a left turn... :o p.s. love the beautiful background and the 8 looks great.....
