Be sure the shop checks your battery after they haul it in.

They are essentually using the same engine, though the low power version lacks a few of the things the high power version has. I don't see any reason why one would flood easier than the other... nor do I see any reason for your statement that the manual floods a lot. It isn't a common event if you use the car properly.

What made you think it was a complement? I guess in a girl's perspective it looks cute.

becuz I havent heard any auto's flooded except for mine. Example manuals cant handle turbo like the auto's? Many manuals have been testing and engines blew.

And you think I abuse my car? Ok lets see my car flooding after 4 months of owning it? you f$cking kidding me? A performance car should not do this. Problems after problems. I'm starting to think a rotary engine is a POS. Period

I wouldnt be too upset. The upside to the car is its fun to drive and it looks good. But yes, you have to maintenance it like nothing else. It"s like having a kid, you have to feed the kid proper and make sure he/she takes there vitamins. haha. ANd in your case, when your dealing with cold weather you have to rev it to 4rpm, let it idle and shut the engine off. Blah Blah, we hear this all time!

And it doesnt make a difference if you have an auto or manual, your car will flood if you dont do the proper shut down in cold weather. There all the same rotary engine. With aspects of more power in the manual.

Oh trust me I normally rev it to 4 rpms but just that one day thought I wouldnt grrr. I warm up the car 5-10 mins then rev before I shut off. Oh trust me I like the car and the look but Im not ready for a kid yet lol. Little do I know that is worst that a baby. ROFL

i fear this happening to me when I am on the road somewhere, but it's good to know how to get it started without getting your car towed. Personally, when my engine flooded, I didnt want to be apart from my car, so I was determined to get the engine started.
If it ever happens again, and the method in the manual doesnt work "pump the gas before you start", you may have to pull the fuse to the fuel pump, jump (if needed) the car then start it. Jumping may be necessary because when you keep trying to crank it, it kills the battery. This should fix it.

you probably already know all this, but if not, ;-)

Noise under the hood. I brought it twice in two seperate occassions. First they kept the car for 3 days the next week after that took it in and they kept the car for 2 days. They told me that the noise is normal some cars it can be louder and so fort. Um I dont think so when I bought it, it wasnt like this. It seriously sounds like a grinding machine it should be no noise under the hood when its on idle except for the engine. What you hear is the engine mixed with grinding noise. For some reason when they deflooded my car and changed the spark plugs the noise went away. I'm hoping I wont hear the noise ever again.
