There are some really nice places on the way to Diamond Head. Also, believe it or not, it's pretty nice (view, etc) at the big cemetery at Punch Bowl.

I got married on the Big Island once - on the beach at Kona, at sunset. (Now that I think of it, probably the best moment of "that" marriage!).

Thanks guys. I've been looking around on websites. I definitely want to do it outside with some amazing scenary. The plan now is to rent a car (damn the '99 Ferrari F-355 looks like fun for a day...$650 . PUKE) and drive around the island. I'll have the ring on me and I'll do it when I feel appropriate. Definitley open for suggestions though !

try the blow hole, any beach at sunset, sarento's restaurant, lotta places.

 

But hey... isn't it all worth it? :p

Anyway, there's a lot of places that would make it perfect.. heck, in a lava hole... volcano crater... hehe.. actually, i'd suggest a sunset on waikiki beach :D

 

For restaurants with locations, John Dominis, Roy's, La Mer, Michel's, Hoku's at the Kahala Mandarin Hotel, there's also a Japanese restaurant next to the W hotel with a killer sunset view. For just sights, Round Top drive (number of sites along that location), most beaches at sunset.
