How long should I use my wool mitt to clean my car before I get a new one? I've had it for about 2 months now, washed my car 4 times, and thrown the mitt in the washing machine each time. It feels okay still although it doesn't seem as plush as when I first got it.

What about my Viking drying towel? I've had it for the same amount of time and it's been washed after every car wash as well.

 

I prefer a Hogs-hair brush to a mitt. I've had the same brush for many years, though the wood handle is starting to crack. The new ones have a plastic handle and will probably last forever
