Anybody have a hard time opening their sunroof?

In my wife's car, you hit the buttons and usually it doesn't do anything until the 3rd to 5th time, then it finally will tilt and then open. It's very annoying.

could ur sunroof be stuck with something in it preventing it to open?

 

maybe you are too tall and your head is blocking it from closing :p

like they said, check the connections but also look for debris blocking the track...

is anything else acting electrically odd? you may have a fuse loose, check fuse box

my sunroof wont work except occasionally... apparently only after the car has been sitting in the sun, or totally randomly, or is at the dealer

 

sounds like the molding may be out of place, if you have a friends 8 to look at or a dealer's 8 look at it carefully and compare, good luck
