who else here loves the stock rims on the rx-8? i think they're absolutely beautiful and go along great with the car (especially in red).

i'd like to hear everyone's opinions on it, and if you're switching it with another, what kind? thanks

i honestly don't care much for them. im neither here nor there on them. my friend however really really loves them and he'll spring me some cash to get some new rims if the stock rx8 rims will fit on his eclipse

 

yea them rims r pretty dope for stock. and i heard they only weigh 20lbs, which is REALLY good.

but stock is stock.

 

at first glance i thought they looked pretty average, but upon closer inspection in close up photos, they look great, especially at 3/4 degree angles...i especially like how the spokes recess inward at the center and how the they don't recess inward at the outer edge...i do wish that there were some bolts or fake bolts on the outer rim to make it seem like a 2- or 3-piece

 

I think they kinda look like machete blades- really pretty nice looking. We'll keep them for a while at least.
