What would be the best way to go about buying a car

So i mean im not too picky about color i just want leather and preferbly GT and 6sp is that really hard to find preowned for under 25k and should i try to find one thorugh a dealership and or internet or what, and what is a program car? If you wanted a 8 for around this price where would u look, and im not really concerned about mileage.

Thanks

A lot of people do their research online nowadays, so maybe you can just email all the dealers and ask for their best quote on the specs you want.

I'm sure if you're not too picky, you can probably pick up one in an unpopular colour quite cheaply.

Good luck with it.

I doubt you will buy a new GT spec for under 25k. I would search used car sites like....

www.autotrader.com
www.carmax.com
www.autobytel.com

Good luck.

If you're anywhere near CT, I would sell you my Velocity Red 8 with under 4K miles, in perfect condition with GT package for $25K. My daughter just went off to college, and I have one too many cars....

1) Search the threads in the General Discussion section. There are a lot of threads on buying cars. As far as dealership vs. internet, I've never shopped online for a car, but I did my research online, visited the dealer in person and got a good deal on my car.
2) Search the postings in the For Sale section here
3) A program car is used for test drives, etc. so it has miles on it but isn't pre-owned
