JL recommends a sealed enclosure 1.375 cu.ft. in size per speaker. That's 11.5"x19"x16".
There is enough space for a sealed enclosure, but I'm not sure you could actually fit this size box through the trunk opening. You may have to go through the rear seats.
I'm putting 2 10W6v2. The sealed box for these is 1.3cu.ft. total for both.
These easily fit under the rear deck speakers, and still leave the front half of the trunk empty.
One things for sure, you put 2 12w7's in one vehicle, they'll hear you coming from a mile away.
Good Luck -

Dotson,
If you get the 12's to fit, I'd LOVE to see how you do it...
I currently have two 12's in my 626 and I am hoping to be able to transfer them into an '05 RX-8. :-)
