Hi all,

I have a Mazda RX8 UK spec 230bhp.

It is a Bose sound system (it says this when it starts). However, how can I confirm it is amplified.

I am getting a mobile phone car kit installed and they say that they have a cable for my Nokia car kit but need to confirm that it is an amplified system.

Any ideas?

Look in the truck for a Big Grey thing attached to the top? I think thats the amp ;p it says boses on it

 

yes, that is correct. the amp is in the back between the two rear trunk speakers.

 

the front tweeters will say BOSE on them.
