My mom was really excited about the possibility of getting a new car and really loved the look of the 8. I was only home for 2 days so we decided to take a test drive in two weeks when I am home again. Does Mazda have any kind of 24 hour test drive like some other brands have? I sent out an e-mail to the nearest St. Louis dealerships and within a day got 10-15 e-mails and 2 phone calls, one from a guy telling me he has 20-25 in stock and are selling them at 3,000 under invoice. What are the chances of finding a car that is an auto, with possibly the sports package only, or possibly the touring package, but not the full GT? We arent really looking for the appearance package, but a spoiler would be nice.

 

i heard my friend got a 2-hr test drive in an 8 but 24 hrs would probably be pushing it, literally..

 

If your friends with the owner of a Mazda dealership I am sure you could.

I got a loaner for a whole weekend - from friday to monday. I was interested and she said no problem! Ray Gross Motors in Franklin Louisiana. Great dealer, real friendly, I even told her that I may not buy the car and she said that was fine before she lent me the car. She never once tried to pressure me.

 

the 24-hour test drive thing is not likely. maybe if your dealer is really nice and you can convince them to do it. once you drive it, i dont think you will be able to hold back!!
