The latest edition (10/2004) of the Best Motoring Video JDM version features the RX-8. In fact, it features so many cars from (STi to R34 to M3 CSL) in a sunny HOT day at Tsukuba. I have not seen the video yet (on shipment) but the trailer suggests that they are testing the "race-ability" of the stock cars in big heat, by measuring the oil and water temperature of the cars. Very useful in our situation as it will be useful information. I am sure RX-8 will get mention re: heat. Oil temp I bet will go over 130 degree C. I saw the M3 reached 140 C oil temp in the trailer

I can't wait to see it. I guess I have to pick up my Japanese again since there is no subtitle to it. Lucky my best friend's wife is a Japanese and I can ask her some slang they use. She even might not know since she has been living in Australia so long :o . I am sure Japan8's Japanese will be better than mine .
