Clutch cable?

Hi guys, anybody fix the abv cable on the 8. Heard it can smooth
the engaging of the gear. Is it true?
Pls advise. Getting my ride in 10 days. :D

I'll give, what's the abv cable? Noticed that the clutch has a fairly long throw on the car which given the short throw on the stick makes the left leg work a little more.

Hi cus

Did u get the cable from Yap bros? Ah Heng recommended me a lot of stuffs to get but not too sure which has the greatest money/performance return. So bros here can advise whether it is a good idea to

1. Get the strut bar set (undercarriage as well as engine bay)
2. Voltage stabilizer
3. clutch cable

Any bro fitted in after market brake system for the 8? Was thinking if it is worth getting a 4 pot over the stock system. I am getting my ride from MM. Titanium grey!

hi again,
nope,a frd of mine imported it in 4 mi 2gether wif the short-shifter & gearknob.i do runs an aft-mkt brakes fr Trust.frankly, its kinda 'kill-chicken-usin-bull-knife' to run an 6-pot,a 4-pot is more then enuff.but Trust dun hv it for our 8s.u can try the 6-pot mini fr Endless, more bang-4-the-buck in terms of practicalibity.but do dbl cfm if the kit coms wif rotors.
did heng recomms u the Ground Effector?i wud say tats a gd/useful/felt gadget.heng recomms to mi,but was kinda shock when i had already had it underneath.he tout he wud b the 1st few to brin in tis new 'toy'.
struts,u can go GR 4 Carbings.the fr strut coms wif a brake-stopper.

Hi again

the short shifter u mentioned is the mazdaspeed one? Is it really worth the money or should I spend it on other things first? Yes the ground effector is under consideration (not too ex). The strut system is the auto exec as featured in Hyper Rev magazine (the red one that looks like a trapezium) and also one for the undercarriage.

I just saw the mazdaspeed 4 pot (yellow colour) for the RX8 and it look gorgeous. Not too ex compared to the other branded endless, AP etc. Top it with AP rotors and it look gorgeous hehe. SouthEast tyres coming in ProDrive rims end of the month slurp slurp.

At least we don't need to worry abt spark plugs. Ah Heng is getting them. Countdown now. One more week to go.

Like the GC 10. The brake caliper seen in Yahoo Japan.

Now come to think of it, doesn't look like original Mazdaspeed.

I have the MS short shifter and clutch line and it makes things allot more precise, definitely worth it...

The stock front and rear calipers on the RX8 are a single piston floating design...
