Finally able to get decent pics of my 8

Hey guys,

Here are a few pictures of my 8. I'm hoping to put an oem spoiler on soon, it should enhance the look of the rear (but I kinda like how clean it looks without the spoiler).

Very nice. I love the base 8, and great color choice.

Thanks. I love it too. Aren't you glad we both bought the color that repels dust? =)

Yeah, I also got 30% on mine.
it looks darker on black interior (of course).
I also put 30% on my other car (which had light gray interior) and it doesn't look that good. (too light)
Anyways, it'll bring the car look much sharper, but watch out for law enforcement. :-P

Yah, I'm looking to get 20% tints for the rear and back quarter. I don't think I'm going to tint the driver/passenger windows. Hoping to add an oem spoiler on to it soon too (getting a used one from a local guy who's switching to an MS wing). I'll take more pictures in a week or two when I get the tint and spoiler added one. Thanks for the compliments.

Jaja. Your car's license plate is configured like mine (bucktooth).

Nice! I've always loved the look of the black one.... the oem spoiler you're looking for looks real slick on black 8's...

Man, I have to say the Black is really growing on me.

Do I really want to own my fourth black car?

I put the spoiler on yesterday and took some daytime pictures of it today. It looks really nice. Here are some pics

Interesting you chose the stock U.S. spoiler. It does fill out the rear end.

I live close to the Great Mall, kinda on the border of Milpitas and San Jose. Hehe, you got a sweet 8 yourself. I was also thinking about yellow, but I couldn't resist the lure of a black 8 .

I got a decent deal, nothing to brag about though. I think after all incentives and everything aside, I got it for a little less than $28k otd. I shouldn't have bought the perma-plate coating they offered, could have saved another $500. Man, I got bird poop on my car yesterday , and tried to wash it off, but I still see an imprint of the splat of poop , so I guess this perma-plate stuff doesn't really work. But I'm gonna bring it back when I have time and have them clean it up.

I was looking into getting an MS spoiler, but the $800 price was enough to send me away . I might swap it with an MS replica if/when someone can make it so it fits like the oem MS spoiler (I saw pictures in another thread of how the lip isn't flush with the trunk lid, and I know I don't have any skill/talent in body work to fiddle with it)

Definitely, I was planning to come to the next meet to meet some fellow Bay Area 8 owners. Do you know what time the meets usually start? I'm interested in seeing your MS spoiler (haven't had the chance to see one in person yet). Hope to see you at the next meet.
