Interesting. The link you provided only shows black though, and specifically mentions transmitting red light. I wonder if you get it in different colors, and if it's optically transparent to more than just red light?

its actually a spray called "Nite Shades" Here:

http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/VH...99_p_1990.html

Just spray it on as dark as you want it....then after it dries clear coat the hell out of it so it shines...simple.......later tonight Ill take pix to show how much light shines through...does not kill the light at all!

I Used 1 can for both taillights but I think im gonna order another one to go a little darker...

I know they sell other colors such as green and red....but their is a different company that sells them...............they are made for car miniture models but can be used for the same purpose............ill try and find out the name of the company.....but youll see when I take night pictures all the colors shine through perfectly, the yellow the white and red are flawless...

ill try and take a pik now and see how it comes out.....

wow ... they should make something more definite. if they do...then it would be a big hit. it might look really good for the gunmetal, red, and black...maybe even the white coming out...wow =P
