I posted this in the RX-8 Quest section but didn't get any reply, so I'm posting it again here.

I was looking at the pictures that you took from the show and I noticed that you had taken pictures of the Titanium RX-8 with the Taupe interior. What did you think of the Taupe color for the interior. Some pictures make it look almost orange in color and others make it look more brown. Would either of you order your car with this color in the interior.

I've ordered the black exterior with Taupe inserts and I'm not sure how it will look. It's not too late to change my order if you think the color is awful. Please be honest as I trust your judgement since you actually saw the color firsthand.

Thanks "unemployedpimp". I didn't want to say anything but that's the second time he's done that to me. It makes you feel about 1" high. I didn't realize that this forum was so strictly monitored.

I tried to do searches and either get only a few replies back or 200 that don't really answer my question, plus I don't have time to go through 200 seach replies. I try to read through as many threads as I can, but it takes a lot of time. Anyway, I thought that Sputnick or whoever took the pictures might have the best answer because they actually saw the colour in person.

I had the same problem with color choices. I chose the Taupe interior because it better shows the lines of the interior. The black was just dull to me. I also checked out all pics of the Taupe to make sure it was not orange. It isn't. Here are some pics.
