I have a base model 2005, and I want to replace the aftermarket head unit with the factory radio and center panel, looking to buy, preferably under 100 dollars.

 

I have one i will let go for 99 shipped to your door or obo with reason. Let me check the front face and make sure there is not blemishes.

 

I'd be interested, I just want to make sure that its the base model S1 Rx8 with the lower tier speakers, not for the Bose upgraded system.

 

Hmm. It may be the bose equipped head unit. I will check.

 

here are some pictures. The faceplate got scratched up in storage. I don’t know how to ensure it’s not a Bose unit. I know some will have the Bose logo on the radio itself but I did not see a logo. I certainly won’t charge much for this if you want it. Not sure what shipping will cost.

 

I think that's a bose unit. I'm not sure how hard it would be to convert my setup to use that. I'll look into it and get back to you. I appreciate your response though!

Do you have the Factory electrical diagram?
It's a good start, the audio system is in section J.
