Exhaust Finishers

I am considering installing a set of Mazda accessory exhaust finishers on my 04 and was wondering if anyone here had installed a set or has an RX-8 with a set already installed. I'm wondering how they look installed and how well they hold up.

are you talking about the shiny insert that goes in the shrouds?

That's fair. I was considering getting them and wanted to see how they would look before doing so. I've never seen an RX-8 with them in anything other than the accessory brochure. I wasn't sure if they fit well or if they held up as well.

Well, I went for it and bought a set for my 04 6spd Base. I figured why not. They seem easy enough to install and I think they will look nice!!

Nice. I always thought those looked great. I wish I could run them. Maybe if I go back to a cat I will. My finisher is 2 stroke dust... Lots...

I did install them last weekend but it got dark and I wasn't able to get any pictures of them on the car. I will take some today and post them so others can reference this thread if they are curious about install or appearance. Here's how the first one that I installed came out:

I forget to get a picture of the rear of the car showing the exhaust finishers in the daylight. It rained all day yesterday and the car stayed in the garage. When the rain subsided a little, I opened the garage and grabbed this picture. Not the greatest, so I'll grab one in the daylight tomorrow.
