AU Aftermarket Head Unit Audio Issue

I just received a new head unit for my birthday, (Bosion Android 14.0 RX-8) and decided to install it today. I changed all the wiring over (In what I believe is the character manner, there were no instructions) And everything turned on fine and working, except for the steering wheel buttons and the volume itself just completely doesnt work no matter what I do, I don't know if its because I've wired it wrong, but all wiring was plug and play and no soldering was needed. I followed videos on Youtube, looked all over these forums for an answer, but evidently decided to cave and make my own post. The Head Unit is an android model and is linked below this post. If there is anyone that has ran with this model or knows what the potential problem may be, I would be forever grateful. I'm open to questions of course since I can't really make it much clearer than what i've typed already. Thank you all again for the help, and would appreciate any slice of info on this. Cheers

Steering wheel controls are typically a completely separate module. "Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface" is what you probably need, not sure how it works with that headunit though
