2010 RX8 Fuel pump replaced now no start
Hello all. New to the forum and glad to be here. I replaced the fuel pump (only not the whole assembly) on my 2010 RX8 Grand Touring. It cranked right up and I drove it around for about 4 minutes. Came to a stop sign and it suddenly died, no stall just died. Cranked it back up it started and drove it for around 15-20 minutes. It ran great. The idle was much better than before along with the throttle response. I ran all accessories and all was fine. The next after noon it would not start and has not since. That was 4 weeks ago. Since then I have replaced fuel pump relay, fuel pump filter, battery, negative battery terminal, spark plugs, and have de flooded it at least 4 times along with doing a fuel pressure test, which was at 60psi while cranking. Checked all fuses and connections. Sometime it gets close to cranking but it simply wont start. Something else I noticed, the fuel pump never stops priming. I know that it may take around 8-10 seconds after installing a new pump, but it will prime as long as you let it. I'm at a loss, I have no idea what to try now. If anyone out there knows or has any ideas on what to do next I'm all ears. Thanks

Just a few updates to the above post. Now when I crank on the RX8 all power will just cut off. Nothing works at all. However if you wait a minute or two. You can literally hear something cut back on and the power is back on. I'm thinking the ground at the starter is starting to over heat or does and after it cools down the power is back on.
