Hi, This is my first post.

In my Country there are not many rx8 for sale, and the ones that are, are badly taken care of or they are for sale for an unreasonable price. Iīve been eyeing the market for more than a year. Also, importing one is out of the question as it would cost 5000 euros in taxes.
BUT, there is this one for sale with great price with a beautiful color, major things taken care of like ignition, starter, clutch, cooling system, etc... Engine seems to be good, he says it starts fast cold and hot.
Only downside is the fact itīs rhd and those cars are very frowned upon here, thatīs why itīs significantly cheaper. But everything else seems to be great.
I know itīs a very complex thing to do but iīm making this post to see if it would be worth the time and money to convert it, seeing iīll save a few thousands buying this car compared to the rest of the market in my country.
Has anyone made the conversion? What pieces from a lhd car are necessary? How much did it cost? Any major reason why itīs just not worth it, even in my situation? Maybe i should just buy it and not convert it?

Do you need to pass tech inspection in your country? Exactly how much are RHD frowned upon? Are the legal?

Swapping sides gets weird fast when you realize airbag wires don't reach where you need them. It sounds like you don't have many options but by the time you get the right interior parts, I'm not sure you're saving much compared to just buying an LHD car. But if those don't exist in good condition... Anything is possible.

Rhd is legal but people here really dont like them, thats why it's cheap. I say this based on many opinions i've read about people who own rhd cars here, most say it's very unpractical for our roads. I'm not sure how i feel about it, i've never driven one so i don't have an opinion yet. But i mostly said that to explain why it's cheap.
I am making this post in case i don't like it and decide i'd like to try the conversion.
