Mazdaspeed dual canister muffler

This may be a long shot, but does anyone know what mufflers Mazda used for the dual canister Mazdaspeed exhaust, or anything that would be of appropriate level? I purchased a mazdaspeed dual canister exhaust from one of my friends locally, but the previous owner welded in magnaflow cans and it is extremely loud. From my research on this exhaust, it was known to be very quiet, and I want to get equivalent canisters to quiet it down again.

I've found two equivalents, but didn't want to waste my money if they end up being too loud. Anyone have any experience with the Borla XR-1 Universal Muffler rated for rotary engines? https://www.borla.com/products/xr-1-raceline-400373
This one isn't quite sized properly but it is an option.

The Vibrant Universal Streepower muffler looks like it better matches the mazdaspeed canisters, and would likely fit better as there is not a lot of length to mount cannisters in those spots. https://www.aceraceparts.com/collect...l-muffler-1118

I'm a little unsure if the Vibrant can stand up to the abuse of a rotary engine though.

Thanks!

The Mazdaspeed Dual Canister was relatively quiet compared to others, it gave a deeper tone and got to moderate levels when at 5k+ RPM but overall was a subtle exhaust. Also it was known to have weld issues from the canister to the muffler tip. Mine was pretty quiet and subtle until i put a high flow cat and the RB downpipe.

With the amount you'll be spending on parts and fabrication, I would honestly save up for the RB cat back. Plugging that to the stock cat will keep the sound level pleasant at idle and cruising. It doesn't get loud until you're at full throttle and high rpm's - even then it's not too loud. I personally run it with the dual resonated RB mid pipe and am super happy with how it sounds overall (no drone or raspy ricer sound - does rip nicely at the high rpm's).
