How often do you use 5th and 6th gears? If you use either of these gears, how do you use it?

 

Every drive, whenever cruising and maintaining consistent rpms..?

 

Neither gear is an overdrive gear and I use both regularly. You should be as well, if you're speed is over 55 mph.

If you really want, gears 2-5 are not really needed. Im sure you could make do with just 1st and 6th.

 

just use first

 

1st gear is/feels way too short on a turbocharged 8, swapped for a 5 speed from japan to get a taller 1st gear and overall better gearing.

That said, why do these posts and threads feel/sound sus? Sorry-not-sorry like genuinely, questions of using 5th and 6th gears and if the rear seats are leather?? Like what?

I think this account is legit though, he used the wrong words for new and knew in other posts. Sad that bad basic grammar helps us know who is human.

All speculation here, I think initially it was possibly legit. TBH I'm thinking more that maybe the account was compromised? I dont know, to be fair this account shows the member's age as 78 y/o and this forum and the restrictions built into it to prevent bot/scam accounts as much as possible do make it more difficult for new members who arent familiar with a forum based site format to use and navigate it easily.
