18x9.5 +35 rims with 255/40 tires

Hello everyone, I was wondering if these rims and tires would be too big. I might trade my tires for them, but I'm wondering if they would stick out too much. My tires I have are 18x8 +35 with 245/40. Would they look stupid if I traded them as I have no camber or anything.

I suggest checking out https://www.willtheyfit.com/

IIRC, oem wheels (18x8 +50) with +25mm spacers was generally accepted as "flush fitment." I'd start there by cross referencing the two. Hope this helps!
