Unhappy Weird idle when warm, burbling and bit shaky idle.

Sup gang. Long time no see.

Last time I posted about my engine that I rebuilt and thanks for all of you I got that engine and car working last summer. Been driving the 8 for a year now and this is the first time something seems to be off after that rebuild.

Idle is very shaky when warm. When the idle hits that 800-700rpm mark it feels bit like jumping. Car drives VERY good tho and feels quick and no issues. Starts warm and cold and no flooding or "bad compression issues" as far as I know.

Ill post a vid here what it sounds like and if anyone has had similar experience please let me know what you did to fix this. ( The car is decat and cat is empty so it might sound different than some of you but the burble or popping sound idle is a new thing ).

The issue: Burbly idle, also kinda jumps up and down the whole car. if I bring the rpm up to 900-1100 or so everything is fine. Car drives and handles perfectly, accelerates well and starts warm and cold and even if I turn it on and off instantly many times there is no chance it floods.

Outside idle and gas pressin n stuff

Posting to keep an eye on this thread. Mine does the same after a recent motor swap. Pretty much exact same symptoms. So far ive made sure: coils, plugs, and wires are all new; MAF is a known good unit; oil is not overfilled; air filter is clean; im getting no codes, which is weird since i have an air pump delete; gas is fresh. Sill hunting the cause of this idle issue

I did fix it on mine. On my car the cold air intake that I got with the car was causing the issue. I switched back to the stock intake that I had laying around and the problem went away

I did fix it. But it was caused by something silly as one of the ignition coils. I am not certain which one but should be one of the main coils since really the car runs even if one of the trailing coil or plug ***** itself.

I had 2 "OE" coils from autodoc when I did rebuild. 2 stock 2 aftermarket. so it could been one of those.

I replaced all with Ryan rotarys coils that I had spare from a parts rx-8 I bought.

did your car have weird vibrations and on 7,5~8k rpm it wont go further and its like losing power? when shift in higher gears it loses power on smaller rpm and after 3k it gets the power back and then again losses it on 7k
