Is it possible to have a manual AC module working with EU head unit which has all the frequencies?
OR is it possible to have US head unit and have all frequencies?

I got RX8 with US head unit and manual AC and wanted to switch to european head unit (which normally use automatic AC) so I can use radio correctly (all frequencies).I swapped AC module in the EU head unit to manual one and everything is working EXCEPT one thing which is the hot-cold **** - it blows only cold air - seems there is some incompatibility. Is there a way to make it work with european head unit? **** is fully functional so it is not its fault.
If I try to use US front plate on EU head unit will I it work or will I burn something? And not all buttons match...

I heard from one Rx8 guy that there is some way to unlock all frequencies in US radio with some soldering and changing resistors. Is it true? I cant find any info about it...
