As per the title, I have multiple Adaptronic modular ECUs new and unused that I bought for future use and spares, but am willing to part with one or two of them. All of them are the latest and last hardware version offered.

It’s a great plug & play ecu for a performance RX8, but for advanced racing strategy purposes; such as converting to a BMW DTC sequential-clutchless transmission that requires it to integrate with an additional transmission controller, it’s not suitable for such a purpose. It requires a more advanced ecu that costs 3x more and has to be fully wired in. So I can offer one or two of these extra ecus that won’t be needed for sale.

Hi are these plug n play do these bypass the immobilizer system as my Rx 8 won't start because the immobilizer isn't working properly

yes I believe it does or can bypass the immobilizer and as I recall Florida doesn’t have OBD2 emissions testing requirement either.

but you should be able to go to a *competent* Mazda dealer and get the immobilizer problem resolved, if it’s what is needed.

This is an aftermarket ecu. While it can be started off with an initial base map, it will require tuning to optimize performance, mileage, drivability. and so on.

While I’d like to sell at least one of them, I’m not looking to get someone in over their head who doesn’t fully understand or appreciate what this is or the requirements thereof.

sorry, been caught up in non-RX8 life situations; retired, bought a house, parent passed on, etc., but trying to get back in the swing of things. Ran an autocross event last weekend, been a while and it ignited the fire within.

The ECU is still available, decided to use a full-on race ecu instead since the other RX8 is going to be a race car
