Got a few hours before I fly home from our event so figured I'd post up some pictures I took. I'm so stoked with how well this event came together as we celebrated our 25th year of SevenStock at a whole new venue.
First up are some pictures from Friday as we spent the day at Irwindale Speedway setting up the venue
This'll be a few photo dump posts. I have a couple pictures of the venue as we first arrived but then vendors and show participants started rolling in and we were busy coordinating the logistics of that so the next pictures will be once all the cars are in and the show has officially opened.
Thanks for sharing the pictures Jorge!
Looks like you guys had an amazing time.
Am so bummed I got tied up all weekend and couldn't make it.
Next year!
BC: lol, it does kind of look yellow with that sunset.
I am pretty sure that is the Cosmo that Mazda bought off someone who had it just sitting in a garage / barn. I seem to remember Robert Davis talking about them taking a road trip to AZ (?) to go pick it up.
Brettus: that car is a monster.
yes, twin turbo 4 rotor on a Lamborghini AWD drivetrain.
Thanks for posting this Jedi! I haven't seen any coverage so this is my great to see. :D
My personal fav.s from the pictures you posted are the the Pennzoil FC, Zebra rally FB and 2-tone widebody s4. With a special mention to the blue RX-3.
My wife asked how come the majority of cars weren't the most 'presentable' compared to the Rennsport event. Yikes… ha.
I am usually terrible about taking pictures but this year decided to at least snap a few as I walked the venue and glad I did.
Federighi, not to pimp out our SS FB page but we've been sharing albums that others are posting. Might be some more pics over there that could interest you.
good picks.
Pennzoil FC was quite nice.
The zebra car was cool. until the transmission wouldn't shift and I had to push it all the way across the darn lot
2 tone wide body was THIS close to winning best FC
haha, your wife isn't wrong. They're not all show cars, that's kind of the cool thing about SS. It's just bring whatever you got and we go from there. Sure, some of them are show cars / trailer queens but we sometimes it's also cool to see a car and know that thing has been daily driven for 15 years.
